Simple plate carrier with a plate.

Simple Condor chest rig (discontinued?) with 1 RMA Armerment Lvl 4 hard plate (Model #1155), comes with the walkie talkie holster, the dump pouch, and tourniquet, and a water bladder + backpack. Easly a $300 value.

The "catch" is that the model 1155 plate is single curve, and the Condor is made out of a materal that is kinda stiff/scratchy

This isn't the best rig in the world but It will stop a bullet and you can hang all your gear off of it.
